Fed: Jobless rate remains steady at 5.6 pct for December - ABS
CANBERRA, Jan 15 AAP - The jobless rate for December remained steady at a 14-year low
of 5.6 per cent, new figures showed today.
Figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) showed that total employment
rose by 29,600 to 9.66 million, on a seasonally adjusted basis.
Full-time jobs increased by 16,100 to 6.93 million, while part-time employment jumped
by 13,500 to 2.74 …
