NSW: Gonzales committed to stand trial for family's murders

Alleged triple murderer SEF GONZALES has been committed to stand trial over the brutaldeaths of his parents and sister.

GONZALES' parents TEDDY and LOIVA and his 18-year-old sister CLODINE where found stabbedto death in their North Ryde home in Sydney two years ago.

The Crown alleges GONZALES killed them over disputes about his then girlfriend, pooruniversity grades and his desire to get hold of the family's $1.2 million estate.

The 22-year-old will also answer another charge related to a threat to contaminateproducts from a major food company.

GONZALES' committal hearing in was briefly adjourned last week when he sacked his lawyersafter losing an appeal to gain access to the family estate to pay for his legal fees.

Prominent Sydney barrister WINSTON TERRACINI, SC, is now representing him.

After a committal hearing in Downing Centre Local Court, GONZALES is expected standtrial early next year in the Supreme Court.
